Youserbase previews the Satio and the Aino
And it’s on video! Yes, I know you guys love these kinds of hands-on sessions where you can just sit back and enjoy the influx of information from the live action video in front of you, as opposed to staring at sets of characters for half an hour. Your only grudge could be the reviewer’s diction in the form of various obscure accents. Now this guy is at least trying. I applaud you, reviewer guy!
The multi-part previews are just after the break.

i love the accent
Its too bad, he’s not using the updated firmware for Satio.
Eagerly waiting to see how the final product feels, right now it still looks a bit rough around the edges…
Man…… isnt he too finicky abt the touch screen?…. You need to TOUCH it dude….. its resistive not capacitative…..
Does the Satio support full HTML versions of websites, as well?
I still cannot get used to the touch screen keypad and the lack of real keys.
The P990i with the normal and the full qwerty keyboard, and the jog dial was the best and most convenient combination for me. Hope something similar will be released.
Thanks for the comments, I agree that my accent is sort of strange, but I cannot help it.
I do not want to excuse myself for still making the reviews without a decent preparation, I just had one day to make the because the phones were just borrowed from a friend. So sorry for not opening the pencil properly, and not updating it. Next review will be more precise.
Don’t worry about the accent, lol. Thanks for the great reviews.

[...] Sony Ericsson has been teasing us with its hottest for some months now, the Satio (nee Idou) and the Aino, two media-heavy smartphones that are inching closer to international release. They still aren’t confirmed for American shores, but until then we can enjoy a series of lengthy videos covering the two courtesy of Youserbase. How lengthy? We’re talking almost 75 minutes of discussion and tentative fingering over nine parts, showing off nearly every nook and cranny of the phones’ (decided dark) user interfaces. While there aren’t any huge surprises here, the vids give good feel for the responsive performance of the UI — and of the occasionally not-so-responsive integrated browsers. We’ve included just the first two installments here after the break, but if you you don’t have anything planned this morning feel free to click on through for the epic and sweeping series. Fully agree with what ik said. Love the jog dial function n sad not to see it in these phones and would prefer a touch screen with keyboard likr the P1i or Xperia.

Nice review, specially because you showed the qwerty keyboard.
Question: does it (the keyboard) support other languages apart from English?
I think your accent is interesting (a mix between American and Australian). Keep it, don’t lose it.
you don’t need to apologise, your review covered almost everything on the phone and that is essential.
If Expansys has it right, then have to start saving up for this cool gadget. On its website, it states that Satio will be selling for £579.99. http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=179074
Looks great!
The wireless ehadset is not mentioend though and not teh remote play functions either. But its probably not finished in teh software yet.
I like this guy’s accent…not sure what the problem is with these people. And I enjoyed his reviews.

Thanxx fo such good reviews ..
m looking forward for it`s arrival
Which module is in Satio? Sony Exmor?
What’s with the finger? just touch the freakin’ screen mate !!
Exmor is just a branding from Sony. It has the “Exmor” but they won’t brand that for Sony ericsson.
