Today the new version of the fantastic XS++ software was released in a new version (I guess this is no longer beta) - version 3.1 codenamed Darwin. This means even more features, and here’s the changelog for this new version.
- DB2010 New Security models handled, e.g. W810i CID50
- Added Smartphone EPOC CCPU (Phone Part) Flashing
- K750/W800 etc now have unlocked CSloader. no more breakin and sleeping phones
- CID29 CS Loaders added
- Experimental DB3150 detection and profiling
- Auto CID update changed for PNX support
- Tweaked FSX a little
- XS++ moved home
- XS++ Help and information R1A (Well, its basic and needs work)
- New Splash Screen! Great work from ashrafalm
I think it finally has a slight support for the new phones such as K850!

Not yet, I’m afraid. However K850 can be connected, so it’s only a matter of time before we can mod it, too!
Almost a month now and still no updates for the w910i that we can not debrand…

I’m not sure, but I don’t think it’ll be that long. And yes, it should be compatible with W910 and the rest of the crew.

Yes, it works with K810, too. Just use SE-NSE for troubleshooting, please.
Can using XS++ cuz an unlocked phone to be relocked? I had that happen once when I did an Ericsson software upgrade on my K550i. More than anything, I want the Orange homescreen removed… Should I be ok?
Will XS++ 3.1 work on k850i yet and does it remove the simlock as well? Im sick of those mean money-grabbing people at Orange.

Do you want your phone debranded? Is that what you mean? Then yes, XS++ can be used for this.

All i want to do is DEBRAND , remove the SIMLOCK and get the latest firmware on my K850i (IMEI REMOVED) which i bought from ORANGE UK 2 days ago. Can anyone help me with this?

With K850, the best XS++ can do is tell you which phone you have. You will have to use a pay service or something.
BTW: I sympathise with you, Orange branding is horrible and I debranded my W810 within an hour of receiving it.

XS++ supports all phones except K630 / V640 K850 W910 Z750
I downloaded the new .exe and overwrote the old one, but when I run it, it still reports v 3.0 beta (sinyar) not 3.1 (darwin). I guess I’ll try deleting the old one now…any ideas?

How about w850? I plugged the cable in, turned the phone off and press and hold and C button but nothing happen.

Hi… I’m using k550i and it just wont connect to my phone.. I’m using xs++ 3.1…. I followed the instructions given and all it say is “Error: Cannot open phone communication port”…
today when i m flashing my w700i phone by xs++ & there is power failure so flashing breaks after that whenever i m trying its saying

please list all the SE phone that compartable with XS++ 3.1 , then noboby would repeat all the same q`s over and over again.
listen to this and follow, i had trouble connecting w880i to this software what you have to do is turn fone off,click connect on xs++ hold the number 2 button down n keep held down,then connect ur usb cable to your fone-still keeping finger on number 2 button and wait till the text scrolls down on xs++ now your connected…now click on fsx and wait for it to load

Hi I am using xs++ 3.1 but my k850i won’t connect. It keeps on saying can’t open communication port.
Any help would be appreciated. I have tried removing the battery for 10 seconds and it still doesn’t work.

Hey, i’m a noob and i can’t get my k750i to connect.
i turn it off, press connect on the XS++ window and hold down C and plug it in.
after thirty seconds (still holding C by the way) it says:
