Xperia Arc and Play: The XDA devs

Two days ago, I posted that Sony Ericcson had unlocked the booterloader on the Xperia Play and Xperia Arc. So, what development has been going on then over at XDA?

Well, in a nut shell, nothing major. It seems our very own Lollylost100 is looking into how to root the Xperia Arc (and he says he is close!), whilst the Xperia Play devs are looking at how to flash a custom ROM.

Seeing as both phones are running practically the same ROM, and what happened when devs cracked the X10, I say it wouldnt be long until both methods are available for both phones.
