 x1liv-15.jpg

Check out these photos of the XPERIA X1. It clearly shows that it’s running Windows Mobile 6.1, which is not announced yet. This was why the Sony Ericsson representatives would not show any more of the operating system or demo anything but the XPERIA panels on the X1. Furthermore it shows that X1 is running a 528 MHz CPU with the Qualcomm 7200A chipset. Somebody is going to be fired… Read on for more photos.

That looks awesome on the beautiful screen!
(Off this topic, but the above pic of the back of the device looks to show STEREO speakers! :P *fingers crossed for that too*)
    Specs look great!
    Looking forward to H2 :P

    1500mAh that sounds cool.

Will give about a day of battery life at extreme use!

  4. XPHCTOC says:

What do you mean with xtreme use?
Gps navigation for 24hours a day with wifi connection 24/24? lol

  5. Michell Bak says:

Extreme usage would be about 12 hours of WiFi being used. I think.

  6. XPHCTOC says:

    thanks for your answer Michell

Glad to see they’re using a Lithium Polymer battery. That’s the same type of battery in the k800 and w800 and most all of SE phones, and they are known for their amazing battery life. I was early specs say it had a lithium ion battery, but glad to see this is false.

    Also, stereo speakers? Where?

  8. Tigershark42 says:

Those two shapes at the top on either side of the camera. At least, thats what I think they are…

Looks nice. Even with 65K colors, it appears to handle gradients well (probably due to the resolution).

This all bodes well for the P5i.

@Tigershark42, I thought those two circles were a Video Call camera and a light sensor… I may be wrong though. They do seem too small to be stereo speakers though. :)

  11. 1500mAh is good, but I think it could be more powerful one in the future. And yeah, the screen looks wonderful :-) even with 65K colors.

There’s no way to stop the hype, right? There always were and always will be leaks to the public before the official announcement.

This is, quite honestly, one of the best posts I’ve read on any blog in years.
