The A200 platform supports WLAN connection, however there are no devices with built-in WLAN. Sony Ericsson is now trying to make up for this by soon announcing a WiFi Enabler accessory, that is most likely to look at work like the FM transmitters, MMR-60 and MMR-70, and make use of the Fast Port connector.
Furthermore, Sony Ericsson is working on a follow-up GPS Enabler, called GPS Enabler 2 (Helmer Fingal II) and also a sport GPS accessory. G900 is reportedly going to come with the GPS Enabler as a part of the consumer package.
How can we be sure of it all? Well, it was leaked in the G700/G900 white papers, which you can at Sony Ericsson’s Developer World.
PS. The WiFi accessory image is of course just a mock-up - the K850 screenshot isn’t, though!

that’s so awesome for SE to do that for their consumers… they could have forced everyone to upgrade to their new phones for wifi connectivity and made more money but instead they gracefully design a cheaper (hopefully) alternative.

Bundled means that it comes with a product, in this case the phone. But yes, I too am a bit surprised by the bundled accessories. Seems like a mistake.
I was just checking the G700 Whitepaper and under the consumer package I have found that the bundled items for G700 are:
GPS enabler HGE 100
Bluetooth headset HBH-PV703
in the G900 white paper the bundled items for G900 are:
GPS enabler ‘Helmer (Fingal II)
Bluetooth headset HBH-PV703
Generic car holder HCH-70
From this I hardy say it is a mistake regarding the bundled items…I suspect that the GPS enabler (as you all ready said in your article) and BT headset will come with the phone…
Yep, you’re correct, but it seems like an awful lot of bundled accessories, if you ask me.
ok…I totaly agree with you…but still to make that kind of a mistake in two whitepapers…on the other hand in the press paper on the press site…theres no such accessories mentioned in Consumer Box…on the other hand we have 2 styluses and in White paper just one stylus…do you have info about GPS enabler in the G900 consumer box from a reliable source?!
Stuff like this is always subject to change, and the W960 consumer package was originally also intended to include more accessories.

I was just checking the W960 whitepaper and I noticed that they have removed the BT headset HBH-DS220….so these info in the G900 whitepaper of the 3 accessories is not so solid after all….we shall see…

Just remember that SE has been known to remove items from their whitepapers. It’s too early to be excited about what will come until one of us actually gets the package to verify its content.
Um that screenshot IS a mock-up! If anyone wants to see where it originated - I myself posted it on Esato MONTHS ago … and you can verify it with the SE K850i Simulator.
What screenshot are you talking about? If it’s the one on the top left, then you’re talking nonsense. It’s a photo I took of my K850 and cropped it.

If it ever gets released, it would hardly be compatible with A1 phones (K800 and the likes). Sorry.
