Forget everything you’re currently doing and go straight to the recently published W995 review over at GSMArena. Trust me, you won’t regret it. They’re very positive about the phone, as they especially praise the superb audio quality. There are tons of pictures as well.
However, you need to have in mind that they are, after all, reviewing a prototype – not a final product. That means that things can only get better with the W995

Expect our own review of the Walkman flagship soon! You’ll want to read that one as well, I can assure you

The overall review is good but they gave the loudspeaker just an ’average’ rating????
Any clarifications guys????

I don’t quite understand it either. The stereo speakers are loud.
Their pre-release unit is running an older firmware than ours are, so even though it is unlikely, that could be the reason why.

I’ve read their review yesterday and I’ve seen that the w995 won’t support divx/xvid vids.
But if I remember your post on “media go” it is possible to convert xvid/divx to the phone via this programm.
So the problem they are pointing out “No DivX/XviD video support (though it’s touted as a video-centric phone)” don’t seem to be a a real problem. Can you tell us more about the xvid/divx conversion Michell???

Media Go does support those formats, and will convert videos from it to MP4, I believe.
