HelpHere’s our 12-minute video preview of the drool-worthy XPERIA X1. In the video, we’re covering the design and feel of the phone, boot-up, the XPERIA panels, camera and briefly the two web browsers, Opera Mobile and Mobile Internet Explorer. We hope you enjoy the video, as it was straight-up painful to upload (almost 300 megabytes) – this one is not going on YouTube, that’s for sure! At least not today. Keep in mind this is a prototype, although it seems in a stage awfully near retail.
Great video… makes me want this phone even despite the fact that it’s Windows. Looking forward to your review of the phone. =)

I really REALLY want this phone now, but they seriously screwed up the US release of what was supposed to be the phone that marked a turning point for Sony Ericsson. Screw it, I may just get the G1.

No, I can’t base a large review on a few days of using a phone. That’s just not enough time for trying everything out and finding bugs, etc. I can promise you, though, that it’ll be very large. Larger than anything I’ve publish before.

I just phoned o2 UK and they have confirmed to me that it is going to be released next week! They said it would be made available somewhere between the 27th and 31st. Finally!!!

Very good video preview, indeed. But I’ve seen enough, I’ve read enough, I’ve heard enough about the X1 but I still don’t have one at home
Damn this, I’ve been waiting for this thing for a really long time, I want it now! Hope I’ll have one before Christmas… Don’t need any large reviews to convince

@Michell, could you please include in your review the newly announced SPB panels if you manage to download it. i’m eager to see that specialized panel for X1. it makes touchFLO 3D less acttractive.
