Here’s a rather unconventional video. The guy in the video apparently decided to put the C702’s splash proofness to the test, and put it in the toilet and flushed… and it survived. Impressive

EWWWWW lol he’s got guts i dont think i or many people could bring ourselves to put our SE in there at least the toilet looked clean LOL its also nice to know though that it IS water resistant.

Wow, not only would I never do that to a phone (even the C702), but I would never stick my hand down in there. :P Still, great proof of product.

Don’t know about where you live.
But here the water of toilets is the same as the water that comes out of the crane.
Since i only puts his hand in the water and not on the inside of the toilet.
I’ll rather see him call or browse the menu after doing this.
My K800i fell in the water one time and it just hanged and the screen was just on but didn’t do anything anymore.
He worked again after he dried up completely though.
Heck, the K800i is one hell of a strong phone
He fell from 2 stairs in a row, he fell multiple times out my pocket on the street, he fell in a pool of water, damn.. he even survived falling out my pocket when i drove my bicycle kind of fast.

Yes an extended video showing phone still operating would be better. Unfortunately the IP rating the phone gets says “splashes”, but to have got the next one up it required resistance from pressurized water. Most people won’t be taking the phone swimming, but it would be nice to know if it could survive short time submersed e.g. in a bowl of water.
ROFL at all the toilet comments, its amazing how many people have a phobia over toilets - I guess they never clean their own. I had a friend who sent texts whilst on the toilet, when I asked what she’d do if she accidentally dropped the phone in, she said flush it away and get a new one!!

my SE K800i just fell in the toilet also…
so i searched for things-to-do stuff for it.. and it made me kinda happy to found out that Wouter’s mobile is still working after drying…
