That’s right, folks, this is the first time ever we get a glimpse of the 3D flashiness that is the UI of Sony Ericsson’s forthcoming Android superphone, codenamed “Rachael”. It seems the generic Android interface has been completely revamped - and for the better, me thinks!

Truly amazing interface. Seems to me like a great upgrade to former Android-based phones like the HTC Hero. Have you seen the videos of its interface on Youtube? It’s quite good, but compared to the one of Rachael, it bites the dust!
I would like to know if Rachael would be a competitor for the Xperia X2…I wonder.

Posted over at an unofficial Sony Ericsson blog is the above video, showing off a very slick UI, similar to HTC Sense, but with more eye candy. We already showed you the leaked pictures and some of the specs on the Sony Ericsson Xperia handset that is rumored to be running this version of Android, and it definately has the hardware to pull it off. This is a winner and SE already said later this year and I am still waiting for my X2/vulcan oh Kiki semms to be telling us that the X serie is a prnuim but not just with smart OS phones could it be a worthy successor to the T650 ? Looking forward to see SE’s future
