Sony Ericsson experimenting with glasses-free 3D phone

Sony Ericsson is designing a new, 3D glasses-free phone!  Only things that are currenetly known are, that it will have 4.7″ display, and it would be HD (1280×720)

I personally doubt it would be of any benefit to have 3D screen (except the bragging rights of course :p ), as looking at it for a longer time may lead to eye fatigue, and the 3D effect can’t be seen from all angles. But still, I’ve never seen one yet, maybe releasing of this phone will be a great comeback for Sony Ericsson,unless the other manafacturers build one before it, that is, before somewhere in 2012, when it’s rumoured to be the release of this phone.

New W705 campaign sites

You know those cool mini-sites on Sony Ericsson’s website? Yeah, the interactive ones with all the cool animations and… stuff. Well, guess what? SE have put up two new campaign sites in connection with W705’s forthcoming release (that’s 27th Feb, if you’re wondering). The first one has 2 modes you can switch between – one that’s about W705’s features in general and another about the “Clear Audio experience”. Yes, it does indeed resemble W980’s campaign site.
