First we had the Xperia arc, then its compact version; the Xperia ray. Now we have the Xperia S and there is a compact version for Xperia S too? The recent picture of the rumored ST25i Kumquat seems to take this honor.
Details of Kumquat (ST25)
1GHz dual-core processor
3.5-inch Reality display with Bravia Engine
5MP camera with Exmor R, 720p HD video recording
Android Gingerbread (Ice Cream Sandwich update later)
As more and more pictures of the phone appears in the wild, we are forced to believe its existence and an official announcement at MWC 2012.

it has WVGA screen
and delete double images
and it has a 5MP camera (when you compare it to S)
let it be; i don’t see it that ugly on the blog.
To be honest, I’m not sure why you relate Ray to Arc as it’s compact version, but ok.
And second, Sony Ericsson? Above screen?
Also even though it’s similar housing, no Xperia mark at the bottom

I think there is but the lightening is bad. Just like this one:
The nozomi also had Sony Ericsson above the screen because these phones are prototypes.
Hm ok, I played with image a bit and couldn’t see it, even a bit, so I think there is no marking, that’s why I said it. Anw, it could be on back side
Good point

Madfish, I’m sorry if i conveyed a wrong message (I don’t mind deleting this whole article if it’s necessary) but I’ll explain what was in my mind.
Actually, I don’t mean that ray is the xerox of arc (in shape, the ‘arc’ design etc). I mean it has all the features as in arc, also its compact and less priced. (i know there is no hdmi in ray but that can be neglected because ray has a secondary cam and arc doesn’t).
In the same way, Kumquat is somewhat similar to S (dual core processor, shape etc) and it’s compact and priced less. (rumors, of course
)
Again, I say it’s my personal view and I’m happy to edit the article if it’s necessary.
alright then. i thought that was a mistake
Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Kumquat is similar to Xperia S.
