Sony Ericsson logo to go multicolour?

se-logo-multicolour

In an attempt to “freshen up” their advertising, Sony Ericsson are said to be adopting more colours for their familiar logo that has remained unchanged since the joint venture’s establishment back in 2001. In other words, the spherical  silvery casing shall no longer contain only green goo.

This is of course only part of the company’s forthcoming campaign, which is supposed to be bigger than even their 2006 “I *love* Sony Ericsson” one. You know, the one that replaced the heart symbol with the Sony Ericsson logo. So, the main aim of the said campaign will be to promote the Entertainment Unlimited brand (and hence, Satio, Aino and Yari) and their PlayNow services.

On top of that, a few lucky bastards customers, who buy certain handsets after the campaign’s launch next month will be given tickets to next year’s football World Cup in South Africa. Nice!

oh no… why change colour? green is fine for me… changing colour is like making nike sign a cross instead of a swoosh tick.
    That’s my opinion btw =p
Can’t wait for Satio, Aino and X2 launch!

A blue one or a purple one for me :D
(white and blue on the Rachael would be perfect/ why to limit the relooking ti the untertainement unlimited phones??? I also want a change on Xperia phones)

  8. SEowner says:

Some bright colors would be better such as red, orange, yellow or white (to match the new X3/Rachel when released).

  9. Norby says:

Hmm, a cool idea, would be a set of LED’s somewhere under the logo, so you can set the colour.

But, purple, orange or blue, would be great for me…

    I like this logo multicoulor.

Pointless. Competitive pricing is what will make their phones attractive again. Sony Ericsson phones are over-priced and the build quality deteriorating. You can get phones with similar features from other brands for a lesser price. If  Sony Ericsson keep that up, I wouldn’t be surprised if they go down the drain in the future. A shame really.
