According to this article on the Dutch JouwMobiel, the Sony Ericsson G705 - codenamed Kumiko - will be announced this Monday. In addition to that, it also states an accessory will be announced on Monday. This will be the IDP-100, a digital photo frame with Bluetooth functionality.
And yes, we can confirm everything

Can WiFi on G705 be used for web browsing???

I really like the concept of this phone - a (relatively) cheap WiFi-enabled solution. This will appeal to many of my friends.

Well the WiFi may not be used for browsing the internet because they only solid rumour of it having WiFi that I’ve seen said it has UMA support which is calling over the internet via WiFi, but may not mean it can browse the internet over WiFi. Samsung recently released a phone that only UMA and not WiFi web browsing.

Well the G502 doesn’t have WiFi does it? I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just saying there’s a possibility.
I can’t wait to see if SE can manage to make the product photos for this phone look good, because so far in every picture I’ve seen of it, it has looked awful. It looks like its made of very cheap plastics to me… Damn.

Michell: Why there are differencies between the EN and the DE SE blog? The Xperia SDK release is not on the EN and the G705 is not on the DE, what’s going on?
Xell is rather busy with work at the moment, and I think he’s finding it a bit hard to do it all at the moment. I don’t blame him, though
