The following pictures are supposed to show Satio’s camera in different situations. Keep in mind: those pictures were taken with pre-production soft-/hardware. They give an idea of how Satio’s camera will take pictures once it is available in Q4/2009.

They look fantastic!
In comparison to the C905 I feel they are equal, if not, the C905 is slightly better. Yet, all the other shots are astonishing, especially the Macro shots!
Flash seems good as well! I hope it improves even more in the end, but I’m happy with this as my permanent camera tbh.
Ps: The video doesn’t seem to work over here.
Try to “Save as…” the video first, then it should work.
Any idea if its an exmor sensor??

SE is getting there, just improve the N-R a little better and you’ve got a winner
so far the post processing is almost similar to C905. it looks like a stretched C905 pic with a higher details.
I hope to see some comparing pictures in a dark place. That’s is the most anoying thing for me on camera phones

C905 has better photo than Idou-Satio. But idou is only prototype.

In this video you zoom in and for the first time it looks like the camera uses a smaller area of the imaging sensor as you zoom in. Wich means that one could zoom in keeping VGA-resolution, without the immediat degradation of resolution, and with gross pixelation. This is a MAJOR plus if this is true in the Satio.
Can someone confirm?
I’ve checked the pictures and they seem to be fine (quality is surprisingly good for an early prototype though), however video is a fake!
Don’t believe it.
Actually I am not 100% sure about the photos either, Satio file size very rarely exceeds 3.2MB, while here something like 4MB is common. It’s possible that someone just did quite a good work on erasing the picture origin and making a fake one ;]

The pictures are as real as the video is.
i now own a satio and the video quality is about the same if not better as this vid was an early prototype. pics are great but watch out for the dark. but this info on this site isnt fake
Cant say im impressed with the quality of the pictures, very..pastel..y lol but then im not lookin for a phone to replace my digicam at 10mp but still, i want similar if not better quality from a fone boasting 12mp
