K660 & Z770 Coming Soon
Just wanted to pop a note that our review of the HSDPA-enabled Sony Ericsson K660 will soon be published (apologize that it’s taken quite some time, but my schedule is quite booked these days). It’ll probably end up around 2,500 words or so, meaning that it won’t be as in-depth going as the W890 review, but hopefully you’ll enjoy it and put it at good use anyway
Also, I should be getting a Z770 from Sony Ericsson any day now (update: Monday or Tuesday). Or at least, I think so
While this is basically a clamshell version of the K660, I am still in doubt what to do with it. If I should simply do a long comparison of the two, or whether I should go for a full fledged review of it. Any ideas?
Have fun in the meantime
PS. Thought I might want to shortly mention what’s happening on the rumours’ front of things. Well, Sony Ericsson is currently working up a Walkman version of the C902 with some extra tasty features. We might get to see this a lot earlier than expected… Wow, what a cliff-hanger!

with the 5mp cam on it? if so, they should mix it up with a 3band HSDPA and i´ll wait for it
Correct
K660 is nice “second” phone for me. It has wonderful design. Bad thing for me is missing LED and autofocus. What I loved was wideo even it is only QVGA, but it is MP4 format (sound recording is much better then in format 3GP). Well, I’m looking forward to your rewiev Michell
*”to your review” :), btw: What about BeiBei? Any new informations?
K660 is generally a good phone, and I quite enjoyed using it. Its videos are of decent quality, although they’re far from perfect.
Sorry, nothing new about BeiBei. It’ll come in a few months, though.
Regarding Beibei, wasn’t it rumoured it was to be aimed more at the asian markets (China, etc)? So you Europeans may not even see it…
@Michell: nice
Muhammad-Oli,
I personally don’t trust that rumour. I know by fact that BeiBei has been tested in Germany as well as Sweden and London. All are European countries, so I can’t see why it shouldn’t be released on the European market.
