The phone is extremely beautiful, no doubts, but I have just one question for you. You wrote that this was just a prototype, so I’m asking you if it’s worth writing a preview of the X1 prototype when the final unit is already out… I don’t see the point :-/
why does it use micro sd instead of m2??
Waco,
It’s a hardware prototype with final or near-final software (final, I think). This is as close as you get to the retail model, so I’ll be reviewing this one, as the changes are almost non-existing.
feco,
I don’t think WM supports M2. Besides, it probably has something to do with the hardware platform, too.
If this is the case, then ok
I mostly meant the SW, there could only be less RAM on the HW side since it was quite recent decision of SE.
The one I’ve got has 256 MB available for applications, and a dedicated 128 MB for graphics and video.

im glad this supports microSD this is already becoming the dominant format in phones i hope they keep it this way those are some great pics though love the two pictures that show the phone on.
wow! interesting phone! very nice gallery. thanks for the pics =)
the finish looks good with the brushed metal..
if only the camera could be a lil bit more slick looking =p
Anybody can tell me what could be the price in Indian Market.
@Miz
I think it’s the qualcomm platform that doesn’t suport Memory Stick format. WM supports it
I now see my reply was poorly written. I meant that it’s probably the hardware platform WM runs on, in this case the Qualcomm MSM7200(A). Sorry about that
@ Harish.. it would be somewhere around 50-65K..
It´s a beautiful cell. Why SE always announce several phones but available its too late than other trades? Why 65K color only against 262 K or 16M?
Thanks
