Along with the W380, I also received a K660 HSDPA-enabled phone targeted at the youth. Here goes a gallery of this phone as well. I am not yet sure when you’ll see a review of it, but I’ll try to do it within a reasonable time frame! So far I’m not really that impressed…

W760 … bad?
W760 … bad?
Well, I’ve now used it for almost two days and it’s a bit better than what my first impression was. But I’m still not super-impressed. W890 is definitely a lot better.

Well in my opinion, yes, going by the GSMArena review. I just can’t see why SE made such a huge compromise with the camera interface. The W760i’s camera interface is reminiscent of the K700i, and that just isn’t good on a 2008 phone.
SE have taken auto focus away from the Walkman series. And sure, they are music phones, but SE have shown they don’t mind putting the Cyber-shot interface on Walkman phones, like the W890i, and W910. And now it seems like they are taking that away. Their Cyber-shot interface is awesome, why can’t they use it in the W760i?

Um, on the first picture on the fourth row (DSC_0145.JPG) the IMEI number is quite readable on the sticker in the battery compartment. Usually these numbers are covered in public photos to prevent possible abuse.

Muhammad-Oli,
The camera interface has been changed because there is no camera key on the right side of the W760.
Daniel,
I don’t care – it’s property of Sony Ericsson, not mine

Yeah but I think they should have at least put a camera key on the side (not that hard to put onto the original design), or at least they could have made a new portrait camera UI which still resembled the brilliant Cyber-shot interface, rather than the crappy K700i muck they’ve stuck on the W760i, W580i, S500i, Z770i and probably the W980i. It just looks cheap and nasty in my opinion.

It has been much improved compared to K700, and certainly also to S500 and W580 being that they are not based on the same system.
