The Walkman and Cyber-shot brands are here to stay, despite the fact that the newly-introduced Entertainment Unlimited brand will supersede the high-end portions of the former two. A Sony Ericsson spokeswoman stated, that the two popular brands will continue to grace the prepay phones. In the UK, at least. Come to think of it, though, it would be complete idiocy to scrap these brands. They’re one of the few things that are driving consumers towards Sony Ericsson phones nowadays.

As you guys can probably remember, the Idou, announced in February, is the first of a new range of handsets – namely the aforementioned Entertainment Unlimited one.
