“Drag & Drop” Bluetooth invented by Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson has invented a very innovative and simple way of sending files via Bluetooth shows a patent application published last week.

When sending files from a Sony Ericsson phone you have to (mark the files you want to send), press Options, next Send, Via Bluetooth then search for the device and finally choose what device to send to.

The new “drag and drop” Bluetooth simplifies this a lot! I believe that it is developed for touch screen phones (and could be part of the new UIQ), because all you have to do is to use your finger to drag the object towards the edge of the phone, where a pop up window will ask if “Send to yyy phone?”. Very clever, I must say – that’s innovation, Sony Ericsson, well done!
