Linda has been a known codename for quite some time now, but until now we really haven’t had any phones to match with the codename. Now, a bunch of photos of the upcoming W595 - W580 successor - leaked on Journaldugeek.
The Sony Ericsson G700 is Sony Ericsson’s cheapest smart phone to date, and probably also the last Sony Ericsson phone to be making use of the UIQ user interface. It’s not necessarily marketed as being a smart phone, but rather being a smart feature phone.
Sony Ericsson recently selected Swedish mobile games developer and publisher GlobalFun as one of its two official content acquisition partner for the upcoming PlayNow Arena and Fun & Downloads services.
The T610 was one of Sony Ericsson’s first smash hits, and many will argue that this single phone model marked a turning point for the company. Five years after its release, it looks like Sony Ericsson is about ready with a remake of this ever-popular handset.
The G900 and its sibling, G700, represent a new kind of Sony Ericsson smart phone products, that don’t look or feel like a smart phone, yet perform and deliver as one would expect a smart phone to do. These G’s are targeted at the normal everyday consumer, who wants a little extra something from his phone, while still keeping the price low.
Well, a video unboxing of the Sony Ericsson G900 has been requested, and I thought I’d might as well give in on this one. Here’s a quick 2-minute unboxing of it, shot on the G700, so I apologize in advance, if the quality isn’t exactly top-notch. While we’re at it, don’t forget to check out our new YouTube channel for all the latest videos. It won’t hurt you to subscribe
A photo unboxing can be found here, for those interested.
The Sony Ericsson G900 comes in a slick black box with the compact, black beauty being revealed once opened. There’s not a whole lot of accessories bundled with the G900, basically just the most basic stuff, such as charger, USB cable and headset. A gallery of the G900 is coming right up!
Here’s a short unboxing of the Sony Ericsson G700 - a tiny smart phone with lots of functionality, including a 3 mega pixel camera and a nice touch screen. Like the G900, it doesn’t come with that many extra accessories, but I’m guessing that’s to cut down the price.
Today I picked up the C702, G700 and G900 - the two G’s will be on tomorrow’s to-do posts list. C702 is a very nice mid-end Cyber-shot phone in a everything but subtle look that turns heads, whether it’s meant in a good way or not. It’s got a beautiful 2.2 inch TFT display, and an extremely snappy GPS even without A-GPS enabled. I’m eager to ‘accidentally’ spill water on it!
So… I thought I’d do a short unboxing post, basically with a few somewhat crappy photos, as it was quite late when I shot them! I’ll probably do a few hundred photos tomorrow of the three phones for some galleries in better lighting conditions. Enjoy
I received the Z770 today, and here’s a photo unboxing. A bit later today, we’ll bring you a large (no, seriously, large!) gallery containing high quality photos of this phone.
First impressions? I’m in love with the design of this baby!
It’s not much, but it should get you going Oh yes, I almost forgot! The Z770 is delivered with a Bluetooth headset - the HBH-PV703, which is actually a nice extra! Here’s a preview
JUSTAMP are showing some rather smashing looking SO905iCS unboxing pictures. The SO905i is the first Cybershot branded handset to be released in Japan, and true to form has some impressive features such as a 5 MP AF camera with 3x optical zoom, and a rather impressive WVGA screen (hint for SE: your European customers wouldn’t mind seeing these sort of specs in their Cybershot handsets!).
Today I received a Sony Ericsson P1 review model from UIQ Technology. Here is the unboxing of the beauty. Some accessories are missing (Bluetooth GPS, docking station), I know, but it’ll give you a pretty good idea of the handset either way. More photos after the jump
