Sony Ericsson made it official a few hours ago, so here are some pictures of the Sony Ericsson T700. There are no high quality press pictures of the Red on Black or Shining Silver variants yet, although you can find smaller versions on SE’s website.

We were first to report about the T700 with this post when we only knew it by Remi, which is its codename. Later on the same phone was leaked in a massive photo series over at SE4M forums, and just recently again by us compared to the T610.
T700 is going to be announced tomorrow morning, and to be quite honest, there’s not that much to say about it. It’s basically a generic W890, which means they’ve put it in another suit and removed the Walkman player. All other features are the same - 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera, 2-inch display, HSDPA network support, very thin body and light weight. The phone itself is also made of premium materials, and it looks just as stylish as the W890.
It will be launched within two months, so expect it to be out in early Q4. Its price will end up at about 270 Euro or about £200 SIM-free and without contract. It is going to be available in three colours - we’ve seen one of them. Another one is very similar to a special T610 colour variant, and the third one is all silver.
Unfortunately we cannot post any pictures of it yet, so you’ll have to wait about nine hours…
In case you’re wondering… The T700 is the only phone to be announced tomorrow. Not the G705, it seems it was leaked too early. The next announcement is planned to be in September.

We showed you the first pics of Remi in June and highlighted the similarity to the T610. Back then we only had an official photo of the T610 we could compare Remi with.
Now we are happy to show you a face to face of the two sisters.

Yet another of the rumoured phones to be announced on July 22 has today been leaked - W302, codenamed Feng, which is a Walkman branded S302. This means it’s got a 2 mega pixel fixed focus camera, 176 x 220 pixels display and it runs the A2 software platform.
We told you about the T610 remake almost two weeks ago, and now more photos of this phone, still only known by its codename (Remi), have been leaked. Remi is a candybar phone, probably for the T-series range of phones. It features a mediocre 3.2 mega pixel camera without auto focus, though with a flash LED, as well as HSDPA for speedy Internet connections. It’s basically a generic version of W890. Remi is not going to be announced on July 22.
Let’s start off with Feng…

The T610 was one of Sony Ericsson’s first smash hits, and many will argue that this single phone model marked a turning point for the company. Five years after its release, it looks like Sony Ericsson is about ready with a remake of this ever-popular handset.

We don’t have a final product name on this one - yet - but its codename is Remi. Personally, I like “New T610″ better, so I’ll just call it that…
The new T610 is a slim candy bar phone based on the W890 hardware platform. This means we’re looking at a phone with a waistline at about 10 millimetres, and it will probably end up at 10.5 centimetres in length, and 4.7 centimetres in width, but my assumptions are based solely on W890’s dimensions. Parts of the body are apparently aluminium, which seems rather nice, and much T610-like as well.

So… specifications. It’s running the A2 software platform, like the W890 and many others, and it’s an HSDPA-enabled phone. The camera on the back is a 3.2 mega pixel one, unfortunately only with fixed focus.
Can’t think of anything more at the moment, but if you’ve got a question, feel free to leave a comment, and hopefully I’ll be able to answer it
Please keep in mind though that this is basically a non-branded W890, so most questions about features can be answered by looking at the W890’s features.

A new Sony Ericsson handset called the TM506 has been spotted at FCC. Besides 3G, it also features Bluetooth, aGPS, a memory card slot and a camera of unknown quality, Web browser, Web feed, Instant Messaging, Picture and video blogging, Music and Video players, MusicDJ, USB, Voice command, embedded games, file manager, organizer, calendar and expandable memory. The draft document also suggest that the TM506 can access TV and streaming videos. The TM506 has dual-band GSM/EDGE 850/1900. The user manual notes that it also has WCDMA 1700/2100 and one can’t overlook the T-Mobile branding which earmarks it for T-Mobile USA.

When available, the TM506 will be the only Sony Ericsson phone from T-Mobile’s line-up, and one of the few to come with 3G connectivity.

It seems like GSMArena’s got some excellent friends at Sony Ericsson. Today, the team published a nice review of the über-small fashionable T303. Once again, I was amazed by how tiny it is, compared to other phones! It’s about half the size of iPhone, which is one of the phones, GSMArena physically compares it to.
Here are the final words;
Sony Ericsson T303 is a good enough attempt to fill in the low-end portfolio of the company. We can’t frown at the modest, yet nice looking and compact phone, with quality finish and reasonable functionality. Design the undoubted highlight, Sony Ericsson T303 offers balanced performance for its class with Bluetooth, stereo FM radio, Smart search and TrackID.
We cannot overlook its major weakness, storage. The limited built-in memory and no card slot make the MP3 and the radio recording capabilities useless. We could also go on about a tad better display resolution and better imaging quality. The lack of PC synchronization is another potential downer.
By the way, it’s easy to get carried away and that would be unfair to the affordable and unassuming T303. Overall, Sony Ericsson T303 is a tempting low-ender - it’s sexy, it’s mini, it makes sense.
