See this picture on the left? Yep, that’s how the new colour is supposed to look like. As you can see it has a certain silver-black look to it. It looks like a hybrid between the well-known Passionate Red and Luxury Silver colour versions. It truly seems like a wonderful combination.
When’s it going to be released, you ask? Beats me! It’ll certainly be later than the original 27th Feb release date for the W705, though. Yeah, bummer, I know. The W705 is quite a sexy phone and that colour scheme does indeed look great on it. Oh, well, what are you going to do besides wait patiently like the rest of us?

Sony Ericsson today also announced that it will provide a large firmware update for the Sony Ericsson C905, that is designed to add extra value to the phone. Sony Ericsson calls it the “C905 Cyber-shot upgrade” and features the following:
- Smile Shutter
- YouTube video client
- WayFinder 8
- Built-in Snapfish service by HP
- SMS/MMS conversation style (chat view)
Other than that, there’ll be the usual bug fixing, etc. The upgrade will be available from mid-February, presumably offered via Sony Ericsson Update Service.
Also announced today is the Tender Rose colour variant of the C905, which will be available this quarter of the year.

Sandy Gold’s the name. This is the 6th recolour of the phone, excluding 2 of the carrier-branded versions.
Sony Ericsson seem to be planning on releasing a multitude of colour versions for the W595, much like its predecessor - the W580.

It seems like Sony Ericsson would rather announce new colour variants of already announced phone models than announce completely new phones. Within a short period of time, Sony Ericsson’s presented no less than twelve new phone colour variants for a total of six phones, and with more to come.
The C902 was presented in a Cinnamon Bronze variant. Other than that, the C902 was also recently announced to make its appearance in a James Bond variant, dubbed Titanium Silver.

Sony Ericsson today (re)announced(?) James Bond’s new phone - the C902. Sony Ericsson did the same thing back in 2006 with the silver K800, and they’re now doing it again with a Titanium Silver variant C902.
Apart from the new colour and the fact that it’ll be preloaded with some content from the latest James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, there’s nothing new to this phone.
The “new” C902 will be avaiable for a limited period only. We would have left you with pictures of this new phone, but the press media library has not been updated yet, so you’ll have to do with a regular C902. These two do look a lot like each other, though.
