Z660i is a 14 millimetre thin clamshell phone with 3G. It looks like it’s going to be a nice phone - lets see if we can dig up some better pictures, shall we? The codename of this phone is Becky. It will have a 2 mega pixel camera without auto focus and it will be running the A200 software platform.
I am currently downloading the new firmware version for the K850. This has been said to be released in a couple of areas and now the Nordic version has been released as well. More updates once the update has completed. Maybe this means there’s a new one out for W910 as well - I’ll have to check!
Update! There’s a new firmware out for W910, too! Am currently downloading this now. Nothing seems to have changed in the K850 firmware, though The K850 firmware version is R1CA037, and the W910 is R1CA039.
The quick answer of course is no they are not, but for him (and now you!) to get a better a picture of this, here’s a picture that’ll show how the soft keys work on A200.
By the way, this goes for all A200 platform phones (currently these are K630, K850, V640, W890, W910 & Z750)
Mobile-Review has posted a large review of the cool looking fashion phone Z750 with A-GPS built-in. But unfortunately it is in Russian only at the moment (however, there are lots of pictures!). Luckily for all of us, who don’t speak nor read Russian, Google Translate can help!
If you’ve been wondering how you can use your PC’s Internet connection on your Sony Ericsson A200 mobile phone, then wait no more because I have the answer for you!
But first of all, let’s make sure that your phone is really running the A200 platform - right now there are K530, K630, K850, V640, W890, W910 & Z750 running this platform, but more will come in the future. The easiest way to know if it’s A200 or the old A100 is by looking at the softkeys - if there are two softkey options in the phone, it’s A100, if there are three, it’s A200. Quite simple, right?
Anyway, lets get on with it. Please note that you must have PC Suite 3.0 installed on your computer and you have to have had the phone connected to the PC first, so all drivers have been installed and are working. Also please have in mind that I’m running a Danish version of Windows XP, so my translations might not be totally accurate with the English ones - and it may not be the exact same way to do this on Vista! I’ve just finished the K850 review, and have published it! It’s the largest review on The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog at the moment with well over 2.000 words. But if you’re not that high on long texts and words, there are many pictures, too!
If you feel like something’s missing or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate on leaving a comment, and I’ll do my best to fix it or answer your question.
