The GPS-enabled Cyber-shot branded imaging phone, we saw a few pictures of some time ago, has finally hit the blogs in a better version. Here is a product picture of the upcoming camera phone, that isn’t going to be part of the K-series. We’re going Cyber-shot on this one!

So this is a C series?
C700 apparently.
well, according to m-one this phone isn’t even designed for the european market, which will get a better looking yet similar solution later this year !
Does this mean all new Cyber-shots will be in the C-series?
Seems kind of odd that they’d break off from the K-series after so many successful Cyber-shot phones came from there.
Still, it looks nice, if not really odd.
I wonder what the rationale behind the C series is? Why the change from the K series?
Looks like some sort of K850, just with facelift. Could this be the new K850? I mean the facelift version.

No, this is not the K850’s facelift. This phone has only a 3.2mp camera.

i think it’s a good move to switch from the k to the c-series. since k should only stand for phones that have a camera.
only phones with a higher-end camera should bare the cybershot name.
…but that’s just me. =D
oh and i really hope this is only the first of a more “rugged” side of SE. =D
does the pic suggest that this phone is water proof to some degree???

Yes, apparently the handset is indeed waterproof.

i hope someone can find out which series have been outdated and add the new ones for a updated list somewhere on here. =D yes… i’m requesting for one.
