BumpTop – The Future Of Android?

Some of you may have heard of BumpTop before but they have recently come to light again due to the fact that they have just been bought by Google! For anyone who hasn’t seen BumpTop in action you might want to check out the demo on YouTube:

So what does this mean? Well having bought the company Google have immediately removed BumpTop from sale and the free version is available for only a few more days from bumptop.com sugesting that they have plans to make use of it. The most likely place for them to do so is of course in Chrome OS but it’s not unreasonable to expect some of the features to trickle down into Android as well. This is certainly something I’d like to play around with on the large screen of the Xperia X10.

    @ Krazy D

Well you can’t try it on Android just yet but we can hope that Google will use some of their newly acquired features in future updates
