So it finally was announced: The T-Mobile branded Z780a, dubbed TM506. We blogged about it back in June, now almost all links on the official website work. All except the actual product page which is supposed to be here — maybe it’s up later.

MTV invites all music lovers to search for their dancing shoes and participate on a trip from London to Liverpool’s European Music Awards — the so-called fanwalk. For nine days (29.10. – 06.11.2008) the 100 winners will blog, do interviews and photo shoots on fanwalk.tv.
To become one of these 100, you have to get a nickpage on the above site — that will launch on August 11th — and get as much votes for you as possible.
We assume it will be available in other languages from 11th.

Sony Ericsson released an update of their Themes Creator lately. Now at version 3.29 you get support for previews of FlashLite standby images.
Furthermore – and more important to most themers – there is now an XML editor included for direct editing of the theme.xml. (more…)
We showed you the first pics of Remi in June and highlighted the similarity to the T610. Back then we only had an official photo of the T610 we could compare Remi with.
Now we are happy to show you a face to face of the two sisters.

The arabic community se4m.com is well known for providing pics and information on upcoming Sony Ericsson phones. Today they strike again as they present us the first pictures of what is supposed to be a new G-Series slider.
The device sports a 3.2 megapixels fixed focus camera with an LED. Other features include a built-in GPS, 2.4 inch display, and it runs the A2 software platform. It will also have built-in WLAN!
We expect this phone to be announced together with Remi in about a fortnight.
All pics after the jump.

USEB has become one of the best – if not the best – blogs dedicated to Sony Ericsson, offering news, rumours & reviews.
Unfortunately, not everyone in the SE community is good enough in English to enjoy all aspects the USEB offers. That’s why we launch our first local site to test the waters for such a service. Being German myself, it’s the most obvious step to start with a localized German blog offering the same content we have here, but translated like no online tool is able to.
You can find useb|de at blogde.se-nse.net to get an impression of it.
Do you have ideas for other localized versions? Feel free to comment.

Eldar is a man who once loved Sony Ericsson. With the latest models, this love is gone and it hurts him. It seems like the line-up for the announcement at July 22nd is nothing to bring back the love again. Read his impressions about the three phones in the following articles:
We told you back in November 2007, we tell you now: The US of A have much love for Sony Ericsson.
I will just let the chart speak for itself.
