And here’s the final gallery for today – the Sony Ericsson F305. The F305 is a low-end gaming handset, but it’s quite hard to be impressed. It’s stripped in a lot of areas and it feels rather cheap. Anyway, here are the photos!

Remember Frances? That Cyber-shot with a 5MP camera and a slider form factor? Well, according to SEMC blog, it’s going to be announced at MWC (as is the C901 …and some other phones). So, the C903 is basically a 5MP version of the C905 sans Wi-Fi and with a rather intriguing new desgn. All of the cyber-shot goodies are there, including Smile Shutter, BestPic, Face Detection, an active lens cover and aGPS for geotagging. Did I mention the 2.4″ screen?
15th February’s the day.
UPDATE: A picture of the rumoured backside can be found after the break.

Here’s a gallery of the low-end Sony Ericsson W302. Its front is quite nice, and the back is rubberised, although feeling a bit cheap. Enjoy the photos below!
As promised a few months ago, I’d give you a high quality gallery of the Sony Ericsson T700 – finally, the day has come. Below you’ll find twenty high quality photos of this marvelous creation. It looks incredible in real life and feels amazing. For this shoot, I tried a new set-up, which should shine through in the photos. Enjoy!
A few pictures of two upcoming Japanese Sony Ericsson phones were posted over at Esato today. While there are yet no names of these phones, we do have a few specifications about them. One of them is a Cyber-shot phone and the other is a Walkman phone.
The Cyber-shot phone is a slider phone with a 3.3-inch high-resolution OLED display at 854 x 480 pixels. The camera resolution is at 8 megapixels, and it features auto focus as well. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have either a xenon flash nor optical zoom. If it’s anything like the SOc905iCS, it’ll support Smile Shutter, BestPic, record videos at VGA-resolution, and such. It’ll come in three colour variants; Black, Magenta, and Olive & Gold.
The Walkman phone is a so-called Premium Walkman phone, based on the new KCP+ platform, which – according to the post – is still a bit buggy. The phone seems to be a dual-hinged clamshell phone with a “small” display at 3 inches. The resolution remains the same as in the Cyber-shot phone – fWVGA (854 x 480 pixels). There’s an external display with a resolution of 24 x 288 pixels, too. The phone will come with a 2 gigabyte MicroSD memory card, which should hold quite a bit of music. It will feature a built-in FM transmitter and its speaker should be rather powerful. It is reported being between 16.3 – 16.8 millimetres thin. The camera will probably be a 3.2 megapixel one.
Pictures after the break! (more…)

Here it is, F305’s music twin. As you can see, it is indeed almost identical. The W395 will have a more advanced music player than the F305, we expect it to be like W302’s.

Pictures of a rumoured Cyber-shot phone, codenamed ‘Filippa’, were today leaked at SEMC Blog. The pictures show three colour variants, Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach, and the phone itself is looking quite cool. Also published in the post is the final product name of the handset – C901. The C901 is a candybar phone in style with the C902. It is rumoured to feature a 2.2-inch display, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, xenon flash and Smile Shutter.
According to the site, the C901 will be announced at Sony Ericsson’s Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona on the 15th of February with a release date in April.

Mobile Today reports that Sony Ericsson’s plans of creating a PlayStation-branded phone have been crushed by Sony, who has refused Sony Ericsson the brand.
According to sources of Mobile Today, the refusal has prompted a fall out between Sony and the joint venture (Sony Ericsson). Sources have also said that Sony would only license the PlayStation brand if and when Sony makes handsets independently. A Sony Ericsson spokeswoman told Mobile Today, that the company could not comment on what Sony has or had not said, but added that “in the past, we have been keen that our product proposition lives up to brand promise, and we feel at the moment the technical specs are not high enough to put such a prestigious brand on a phone”.
Ah well… I don’t personally care too much, as I’ve got a feeling they’ve got something up their sleeves. And besides, I’d rather have a Bravia-branded handset, like in Japan, than a PlayStation-branded one.
And yes, I’m fully aware of the fact that this is slightly old news, but I’ve got a lot of things going on at the moment, and thought we’d all be better off to have this covered.

It seems Sony Ericsson will soon announce the F305’s Walkman sister. Today, Maximys over at SEMC Blog posted that this phone is going to be called W395, and that it’ll be announced relatively soon in order to be released in April later this year. The specifications are rumoured to be about the same as F305, although with the slight addition of the Walkman player, and probably a few music applications and extras, such as a large memory card.
The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is just around the corner, which will present an excellent opportunity to announce the W395. I guess we’ll see soon!
By the way, the picture is not real – it’s made in Photoshop.
