HelpMaximys over at SEMCBlog just posted the second photo of the upcoming BeiBei. It’s a Japenese inspired handset, and it in my opinion the colour combination is very cool. The red funny looking thing is the stylus.

First impressions? I’m in love with the design of this baby!
It’s not much, but it should get you going Oh yes, I almost forgot! The Z770 is delivered with a Bluetooth headset – the HBH-PV703, which is actually a nice extra! Here’s a preview

Handango Newsletter – X1 to Launch Mid-September

A recent Handango newsletter made mention of the fact that the Sony Ericsson X1 will launch with Handango’s InHand service pre-installed. Whilst that is interesting news in its own right the newsletter also mentioned that the X1 would launch in mid-September.

Further Design Updates
Friday, May 2nd, 2008You might have noticed it already – I’ve changed the design of the blog even more today, and I’ve optimized it as much as I can for lower resolution screens as well as high resolution ones. I’ve also added a few other things – one is the author post search. In every post, you’ll notice that the post author’s name is now a link. This link will redirect you to all posts by this author. Pretty neat, isn’t it? I’ve changed a few other things in the formatting as well, but the main part of the stuff I’ve changed has been in the codes, making it a lot lighter.
I’ve tested it in Firefox 3.0 beta 5, Internet Explorer 7 & 8 beta, and Safari 3.1.1 with encountering any problems.
I hope you like this one a bit better than the ‘old’ one, and please do give me some feedback on it!
GSMArena Reviews The T303

It seems like GSMArena’s got some excellent friends at Sony Ericsson. Today, the team published a nice review of the über-small fashionable T303. Once again, I was amazed by how tiny it is, compared to other phones! It’s about half the size of iPhone, which is one of the phones, GSMArena physically compares it to.
Here are the final words;
Sony Ericsson T303 is a good enough attempt to fill in the low-end portfolio of the company. We can’t frown at the modest, yet nice looking and compact phone, with quality finish and reasonable functionality. Design the undoubted highlight, Sony Ericsson T303 offers balanced performance for its class with Bluetooth, stereo FM radio, Smart search and TrackID.
We cannot overlook its major weakness, storage. The limited built-in memory and no card slot make the MP3 and the radio recording capabilities useless. We could also go on about a tad better display resolution and better imaging quality. The lack of PC synchronization is another potential downer.
By the way, it’s easy to get carried away and that would be unfair to the affordable and unassuming T303. Overall, Sony Ericsson T303 is a tempting low-ender – it’s sexy, it’s mini, it makes sense.

Java ME + Adobe Flash Lite = Project Capuchin
Thursday, May 1st, 2008Sony Ericsson yesterday announced its brand new technology, codenamed Project Capuchin.
This technology will bridge the Java ME platform and the Adobe Flash Lite platform in a new developer platform for fast & clean user interfaces, both graphically and code-wise. The technology will among other things make it possible to use Java ME in the application codes, while being able to use Adobe’s Flash Lite technology for the application interface.

Sony Ericsson plans to make this technology available in second half 2008 (new phones!!), and will demonstrate the technology at the JavaOne Developer Event in San Francisco, May 6 – 9, booth 718 in the Pavilion.
