Mobile-review takes a look at G702

well, to be honest i can’t just trust mobile-review. I can see it clearly that they’re SE haters…
4:15 am on 5/30/08LOL i noticed that a LONG TIME AGO so don’t worry about them ever since they reviewed the n95 they’ve become straight riders for nokia it pisses me off really i mean did you notice the whole review was negative with no positives? just wait for Cnet Asia’s Review which actaully will discuss everything…..oh and this blog’s review too
8:23 am on 5/30/08Bullcrap - MR isn’t biased in any way. Eldar is just looking at every aspect, including strategic decisions of one company or another. Its a great ressource. Just don’t expect that every product of SE is the shining example everybody is hoping for.
The most worrying point in his review for me: the quality of the navi-roller, that its not very comfy to use. Hope this only relates to prototypes…
8:49 am on 5/30/08Well you can’t say MR is biased in any way. However its pretty strange why mobile review have to end their reviews and previews criticizing SE. The reviews are pretty good, no doubt about that…but is it necessary to raise questions on SE’s strategies each and every time? SE must definetely have done its homework and it is indeed in a better position to assess the market than us, or MR or any other review site for that matter.
Anyway….a review is just one person’s opinion.So doesn’t matter that much anyway. Although am curious to see which future SE phone will impress the folks at MR.If they stick to a similar stance while reviewing the X1, then they’re bound to lose a lot of traffic to their site
For now, am waiting for GSM Arena’s and Mizzle’s review
9:45 am on 5/30/08Well, I don’t really think that M-R and Eldar are biased or SE-haters. Eldar personally gave a relatively high mark to G700/G900 in reviews and podcast. But since than there were some SE movements on Russia markets (esp. in pricing) and some negtiveness arise - non-stable X1 along with pretty good working HTC Diamond/Rafael which are very similar to X1 and so on. Since then Eldar has more scepticism about SE strategy and tactics.
2:50 pm on 5/30/08Bibo what are you a spokesperson for MR? dont worry about the navi wheel that’s also BULLCRAP as you put it have you ever used a SO905ci? didn’t think so that has one of those center scroll wheels and it is excellent the only downfall i can see of this phone is the stylus is something out of a dollar store and there’s no autofocus that’s it, wait untill everyone sees how excellent the browser is.
