Exclusive: Silver Back With 5 MP

Loading ...Doesn’t it look great? The back is made of metal in silver colours, with a 5 mega pixel camera on the top of the phone, as well as a stylus pen on the top right of the phone.
So, the days with pictures of Paris are now over. We’ll see if and when we can post a video

ok seriously… I can’t see the name CYBERSHOT so it’s definitely a G900 type.

G series are high-mid ends
All SE P series had superior camera modules.
P990- better than K750
P1 - better than K800
Logically Pnext-better than K850
Also PK (a trusted esato member who has the device) confirmed that the images are MUCH better than the K850 so your conclusions (gueses) can be taken seriousely.

Thanx for the info. i pray your right. I was just dissapointed after seing G900 sample shots. I can’t see it better than P990i.

P1’s camera is not as good as K800… Remember the green tint on the right side???
Also, at night, P990 doesn’t take anywhere near as good pictures as K750… The reason is the camera software… I own a P990 and knows what the problem is…
As for Paris… I too think the camera hardware will not be as good as K850… Even if it was as good a K850, it would have fallen behind N95’s camera…
I am basically confused about the camera flash… Even if it does have a flash, it can only be single LED and may not good enough… Common SE P1 has a 2 LED flash… Beef up the specs before the official anouncement PLEASEEEE…. A WVGA screen and better camera…. PLZ SE you still have time…

But sadly i am not going to consider it coz i am aiming for WM phones, unless this fone can beat the WMs with a much attractive price

And please…you don not have samples from the P5 camera, nor you can say what modules is in it…so saying the camera is this and that is completely premature. Lets wait…

We need at least 5 sample shots to Start commenting on the quality…
And i DO own a P990 for almost 16 months now and used a P1 for the last 3 weeks as 2nd phone and i know the the green ting is no more and the P1 has a better cam quality than the K800.

Now all that’s left is the video and the final specsheet and then we can start judging this thing for what it’s really worth.
I’m excited and nervous at the same time.
3:04 pm on 4/11/08Let’s not go too far into debating K800 vs P1 camera quality, but stating P1 to be the better one just is not right. I have used both on latest firmware and K800 is superior. Aside from the green tint, can I just mention the graininess of P1 pictures taken in low light conditions?

Cool, very simple yet elegant. i believe this has PhotoFlash LED inside what do you think miz?
3:50 am on 4/12/08I would say it’s a PhotoFlash LED, as Photoflash takes up less space [you can see there isn't a lot of space for a xenon flash]. Personally, I don’t need a Xenon Flash so PhotoFlash would be fine for me.
Do you guys think that the “rim” beside the Sony Ericsson logo the speakers? I’m guessing that because they did a silver strip for the P1

Wow! So the keys surrounding the dpad are real!
I can see four keys but I can only identify the “c” key at the right.
Probably in the left is “back” key or “menu” key.
Do you know the other two?
