Here goes a first look at an official picture of Alona. Due to the latest talk in the rumour forums, we are not sure that this phone is codenamed Alona. Anyhow, it’s a real official picture of the phone I had photoshopped here.
We’ve managed to get our hands on Sony Ericsson’s press invitation to this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (formerly known as 3GSM). The title of this year’s invite is “I (SE) big ideas” - could this be a sign that we’re going to see a bunch of high-end phones? Let’s hope so!
The press conference we’re all waiting for will happen at the 10th of February (5 days to go everybody!) at 6.30 PM, local time.
Sony Ericsson will be in Hall 8, Stand 8C118 at the World Mobile Congress, if anybody wants to check out their latest offerings.
I just noticed this very small update in press releases from Sony Ericsson. They now all contain relevant links to announced phones and high resolution press photos. It’s a nice move, and really was needed. I remember having to browse for a few minutes at announcements to find this stuff - now it’s just right there!
