A Look At XPERIA
Here are screenshots of some of the different home screens available in XPERIA. The XPERIA panels are fully customizable, and will all change accordingly to what happens.
The first picture displays the business home screen with a large clock, links to messages, calls and live calender posts.
The second one is the calendar overview, which pretty much does the same as the first one, but with a better overview of the camera and upcoming schedules.
The third one is the media one with links to music, videos, photos, games and alike. This is somewhat reminding of the current Media menu in A200 phones, and the W960 as well as the newly announced G700 & G900 offerings. Videos can be watched in a simple way with large controls.
Fourth screen shot is the photo album. Here you can very easily navigate using your finger on the touch screen, the 4-way key or the optical navigation by wiping your finger across the edge of the display.
Fifth and final screen shot is the upcoming PlayNow look. Easy navigation with your finger, and also finger scrolling.

Very nice!
So, if a user were to select the Businessl panel, would all programs appear in that skin? Or is it just that screen that looks like that?
2:03 am on 2/12/08Sorry, I don’t follow you. Would you care to specify?
2:17 am on 2/12/08Sure:
I mean, if you choose one of the panels (say, the gray business one) will the entire UI be reskinned to conform to that style? Or will we be stuck with the WM6 UI for everything outside the nine Xperia panels?
2:19 am on 2/12/08Ahh… It’s the home screen only, as far as I know. But maybe the theme will change into the colour theme as well.
2:21 am on 2/12/08Thanks!
2:22 am on 2/12/08This is probably a stupid question but does this mobile have flash lite or WM already comes with it.
Also does this have the 3.5mm jack?
9:08 am on 2/12/08Yes, it has a 3.5 mm jack, and it has a flash light, as far as I heard.
