Official Picture of Alona (?)
Posted by xell | February 6th, 2008 Here goes a first look at an official picture of Alona. Due to the latest talk in the rumour forums, we are not sure that this phone is codenamed Alona. Anyhow, it’s a real official picture of the phone I had photoshopped here.

9:44 pm on 2/6/08Ok I highly doubt that it is official. It looks far too photoshopped and being a photoshopper myself, I feel like I should be able to tell.
Firstly, the lighting on the buttons is all wrong and looks extremely amateur, especially when comparing to official SE pictures. The lighting everywhere else isn’t so flash either. And the overall crispness of the image is very poor.
Secondly, the top of the image is cut funny. SE wouldn’t do that.
Thirdly, the integration of the headset doesn’t look quite right… The way it is cut out is wrong or something but I can’t put my finger on it.
SE would not release an official image that looked this shocking. I honestly thought you were joking when I saw this post. I guess we shall see whos right soon! It is just an average photoshop…

This is indeed an official product picture. You guys should have a bit more trust in what we post here.
Anyhow, agree that the top of the phone isn’t like that. This is caused by Maximys’ extremely bad Photoshop skills. How do I know? Because I’ve got a correct version of the picture still on the blog server

It is the buttons and the top of the phone that bug me the most. If you say there is a better version, perhaps this one should be posted too??
