‘The New Nation’ reports that Sony Ericsson has opened its very first exclusive store in Bangladesh, which will be breaking out from the traditional way of selling mobile phones.
As said, it’s a Sony Ericsson exclusive store, meaning only genuine Sony Ericsson products will be sold. But that’s not the really exciting stuff - what’s new and exciting is that the consumers in Bangladesh will now be able to fully try out the phones, have user friendly touch-screen self-help product updates and interactive phone displays. In other words this will give customers a better knowledge and support regarding Sony Ericsson products.
I wonder when we’ll be seeing these kind of stores other places in the world besides Bangladesh and London…

I just wanted to do a post about some devices I’ll be getting soon.
First up is the Sony Ericsson T650 - a fashion phone with quite a good camera. This will be the first test device Sony Ericsson will be sending me (new yet unreleased phones will come soon!).
The second I’m going to get is the Sony Ericsson P1. This is a phone I’ll keep, and I’m counting on getting it around mid-December. This will be a nice replacement for my retiring P990.
Also, some of you might remember my post about some accessories earlier on. This was the MBS-100 & IPK-100. I’m still counting on getting these, so don’t worry - they’ll end up here on the blog some day!

Sony Ericsson has invented a very innovative and simple way of sending files via Bluetooth shows a patent application published last week.
When sending files from a Sony Ericsson phone you have to (mark the files you want to send), press Options, next Send, Via Bluetooth then search for the device and finally choose what device to send to.
The new “drag and drop” Bluetooth simplifies this a lot! I believe that it is developed for touch screen phones (and could be part of the new UIQ), because all you have to do is to use your finger to drag the object towards the edge of the phone, where a pop up window will ask if “Send to yyy phone?”. Very clever, I must say - that’s innovation, Sony Ericsson, well done!

Here are the ten chosen questions for Mr. Komiyama. I’ve sent the questions to Sony Ericsson already, so the answers to the questions should come one of the upcoming days.
Read the questions after the break. Continue reading “Here are the questions for Mr. Komiyama”

The standard set of folders in the file manager on Sony Ericsson phone contains Camera Album, Music, Pictures, Videos, Themes, Web pages, Games, Applications & Other. But what if you want more folders in there - say for your documents, secret files or modifications. What can one really do?

Actually creating these folders is extremely easy! All you have to do is connect your phone to the PC or open an application on your phone with full access to the files on your memory card (i.e. MobyExplorer). Next up, simply create a new folder on the root of your memory card and there you have it! Unfortunately it’ll be a standard folder icon, and these can’t be changed (yet - I’m still trying to find a solution).
That’s it for this week, hope you found it at good use! By the way this will work on just about all current Sony Ericsson phones with a memory card!
