Create your own Sony Ericsson visiting card

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Along with the T650 that arrived here today was also a visiting card from Aldo Liguori (Corporate Vice President of Global Communications & PR). So I thought, why not have some fun out of it? So I opened up Office Publisher and started recreating the visiting card in Sony Ericsson style. I’ve purposely made some minor changes and let out some info so it doesn’t fully match the visiting cards from Sony Ericsson, and before using please note that this is by no means real or can be used in real life situations ;-)

T650 has arrived

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

The T650 Sony Ericsson has sent me has arrived just now. I’ll be posting some unboxing pictures later on and also an unboxing video.

Oh and now that I’ve got the K850, T650, W880 & W910 in the palm of my hand, I think it’s about time for me to hold a beauty contest – for Sony Ericsson phones that is! I guess this will have to do for tomorrow as it’s very cloudy outside today and it’s nearly impossible to snap any pictures.

Sony Ericsson’s double slider concept

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

I know I’m a bit late at posting this, but I’ve been a bit busy and I’m actually in kind of a rush right now, so… This is a concept created by Sony Ericsson which shows a phone with a double slider keypad / keyboard. Anyways, here are some pictures of the concept. Enjoy! :-)

Sony Ericsson Content Awards 2007

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

content_awards.jpg

Sony Ericsson has launched a new and exciting site at their Developer website. It’s actually an awards showcase where some of the best Sony Ericsson content in 2007 will be awarded. There are five content focus areas:

  • Gaming
  • Imaging
  • Productive Mobility
  • Music and Audio
  • Themes and Graphics

Both J2ME and UIQ 3 content is featured and so are themes for both non smartphones and smartphones.

At the Flash website there are also a few videos of Mats Lindoff (Corporate Vice President) and Jens Greve (Senior Manager and Head of Sony Ericsson Developer World) talking about the future of mobile phones and mobile content. Quite interesting, if you ask me.

In my opinion all the nominees have a good chance of winning, but there can only be one in each category – and you can take part of deciding which one!

You’ll find the flash website right here and more information about the Awards here.

T650 is coming soon…

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Some of you might remember a post earlier on where I say that I’ll receive a T650 from Sony Ericsson soon. Well, I really don’t know what happened, but Sony Ericsson got this crazy idea that I wasn’t interested anymore – which I of course am :-D

So had a chat with Sony Ericsson and it seems they’ll send it today and that it’ll reach me soon. So once again expect some unboxing pictures, video and a review of this phone, all coming within the next weeks.

Sony Ericsson tops Greenpeace’s environmental list

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

greenpeace_se.jpg

Sony Ericsson has topped Greenpeace’s latest list on eliminating harmful chemicals in electronic products. Sony Ericsson is now closing in on a 8/10 grade on the “Guide to Greener Electronics” with Samsung right behind. Sony Ericsson has always been pretty high on this list, but the reason why it’s become number 1 now is because of some new products without PVC.

I’ve just received my new W910!
