As promised here’s the first photoshopped picture of the UI by me. I’ll see if I have time to make any of the the other ones! Am not totally sure if this is the right proportions, but if so, then it’s a 240 x 400 pixel screen. Sorry, I had to watermark it and I’ve also resized it a bit down

Here’s some pictures of the new UI for Maria (well, all signs point towards it being the UI for Maria). It looks great in my opinion. Sorry about the poor quality, I’ll try to make some photoshops of the UI later on.
Here are some pictures of the Japanese Sony Ericsson SO905iCS Cyber-shot phone, that will be announced as a part of DoCoMo’s new 905i lineup of phones.
SO905iCS will feature a 5.1 megapixel CCD camera with auto focus and Cyber-shot branding. Furthermore it’ll have a 3x optical zoom (4.5 – 13.5 mm). It’ll also have a xenon flash, something looking like face recognition and I must say it looks like a real camera!!
It’ll measure 113 x 50 x 24 mm, and will weigh 150 grams. So it’s still pretty big. Furthermore it’ll have a WVGA screen with a diagonal of 2.7 inches! Crazy…. Why don’t Sony Ericsson in Europe ever announce something like this?
It’ll be available in a black/silver variant, a pink variant and a white/beige variant. Read on for more pictures of the phone.
The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog has gotten some exclusive info about upcoming Sony Ericsson smartphones that are to be announced at the announcement in November. According to our sources there will be 3 smartphones getting announced – one iPhone competitor, one ultra high-end smartphone and lastly a mid-to-low-end smartphone.
The iPhone competitor, so to speak, is codenamed Maria, and the focus will be on media features as well as ease of use and a good, solid user interface.
The ultra high-end smartphone has been known by the name P3i, but this will not be the final product name. P3i will be a smartphone that simply has everything, and it will possibly run UIQ 4.0 – definitely not UIQ 3.0, so either 3.2 or a completely new version. P3i will have a great screen and as I said pretty much all features – this will be a direct hit at Nokia’s N95 8GB and E90.
The last smartphone to be unveiled is a mid-to-low-end smartphone, that most likely, is going to be named P600. It won’t feature any ‘great’ features – preferably a QVGA touch screen and a simple 2 megapixel camera.

Now here’s something very interesting. It seems that Martin Vagner from uiqmania.cz has successfully flashed his P1 to a W960! However at a first look, Memory Stick Micro cards won’t work and the QWERTY won’t function either. Check out the video below, and see the discussion here.
Yesterday I had an idea – to make reviews of applications and games for Sony Ericsson phones. But of course I wanted to make sure if my readers would be into it, so do you guys think it would be a good idea? I was thinking something around a review once every 1 – 2 weeks. The guys at SE-NSE have done it again, and have now released a beta version of XS++ 3.0. This one adds many new features, and one of the coolest is probably the full FS file system explorer – now there’s no need for FAR Manager when modding your phone! See the full list of changes and download the beta version right here! Please also do report any bugs either on the forum or by submitting a comment here – then I’ll make sure it gets forwarded.
I guess you remember the K205a phone that had been approved by the FCC and started showing up on pictures around the Internet? Well, guess what, an official picture of the phone has leaked, and I must say it looks pretty good for a low-end phone!

Wow, all the sudden Sony Ericsson has launched W200 in an additional 4 color variants. Now this phone is available in 6 color variants – has that ever been done before from Sony Ericsson (apart from StyleUp covers)? I doubt it. The four new colors are Grey, Sweet Pink, Aquatic White & Mono Blue. An interesting thing is that they’ve all gotten makeovers, not just a color swap. Now there are also different symbols and textures. Cool! And the accessory has also gotten a makeover. Press the thumbnails for full size pictures.
